Toto Nsiala Pre Rotherham United

Defender Nsiala looks ahead to Wembley final

Shrewsbury Town travel to Wembley tomorrow afternoon for the final of the Sky Bet League One Play-Offs against Rotherham United.

The game will be Toto Nsiala’s fifth time at Wembley and he is looking to draw on his previous experiences of playing at the national stadium.

“It’s probably one of the worst feelings ever not winning at Wembley and watching other people celebrate in front of you, and you don’t want to have that feeling again, so you want to win more and celebrate with your family”, Toto said.

“It’s a special day (when you win at Wembley). You get through the two weeks of training hard and running hard, the whole season actually, but winning there is one of the best feelings ever.

“It’s going to have to be one of our best performances of the season, so everyone’s going to have to be on it from the staff, to the players, and the fans, but I’m just looking forward to it really. I know that all of our lads will turn up for the game and give it 110%.”

It’s honours even from the regular season with Town winning 2-1 at Rotherham, whilst the Millers took home a 1-0 victory from the Meadow, so Toto has a good idea of what to expect.

“It’s going to be a tough game”, Nsiala admitted.

“We are similar. We are two hard working teams and very organised as well. We will both try and be very organised on the day, so it will be a good game to play in, but I couldn’t tell you how it will work out because it’s Wembley and anything can happen.

“You’ve just got to not build the game up too much and get on with it. It’s just another game at the end of the day, there’s nothing new apart from it being at a different stadium and it’s a final, but you’ve just got to take it as you take any game really and be as relaxed as possible.”
