Shrewsbury Town Football Club is pleased to reveal our new Umbro home kit for the 2021/22 Sky Bet League One campaign.
The Shrews welcomed Umbro back to the Salopian family in July 2021 as the UK-based sports brand signed a four-year partnership with Town. The prestigious sports brand, established in 1924, forms a reunion with Salop having previously been the Club’s kit partner from 1973 to 1982 - including the production of our 1978-1979 Division Three champions kit.
In light of the difficult time constraints and Covid-19 impacted restrictions, this year's kit will not be bespoke for the first year of our four-year partnership. Shrewsbury Town and Umbro are also in discussions regarding the production of retro Umbro Salop kits from the past.
Shrewsbury Town would like to place on record our sincere appreciation to Umbro for all of their hard work in ensuring Town's kits have been supplied in time for our pre-season campaign and the coming season.
Town's Manager Steve Cotterill believes in a fresh approach with our technical kit suppliers, and the Club is equally delighted to have Umbro - a prestigious established sports brand - on board within the Salopian family.
