Gaffer set for Colchester scouting trip
Graham Turner heads to Colchester tonight to run the rule over the Essex side ahead of Shrewsbury's first-ever trip to the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
It's a big night in League One with a number of the other teams currently below Town in the table also in action.
Apart from Colchester taking on MK Dons, Oldham are at home to Yeovil and Scunthorpe travel to already relegated Bury.
"I'll go down and have a look at Colchester in preparation for Saturday," said the manager. "Obviously we hope and keep our fingers crossed that results go well but we can't rely on them.
"In this situation we have to make sure we've got that determination to do our own thing. We've got to assume that results go against us tonight and Saturday.
"They may not and we may get out of jail because of results elsewhere.
"But we have got to assume we have to do it ourselves."
