16 April 2014

Young keeper off to join up with England again

Promising Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Harry Lewis has been selected for an England goalkeeping camp at the end of this month.

Harry, 16, who recently signed a professional contract with the club, will join the full time staff at the Greenhous Meadow this summer when he leaves Shrewsbury's Meole Brace School.

Harry, the grandson of Town and Manchester City goakeeping legend Ken Mulhearn, will attend the camp alongside the country's finest up and coming young goalkeepers at the University of Warwick on April 28 and 29.

Callum Burton, another highly rated young Shrewsbury goalkeeper, is currently away with the England under-18 squad for a friendly against Germany at Rotherham United's New York Stadium.
