Callum part of the winning England squad
Shrewsbury Town's 17-year-old goalkeeper Callum Burton was part of the England under-18 squad which came from behind to beat Germany 2-1 in front of a crowd of more than 9,000 at Rotherham's New York Stadium last night.
Callum was an unused substitute but enjoyed being part of the squad once again having linked up with them in Sheffield last weekend.
Dominic Smith, who, like Callum, recently signed his first professional contract with Shrewsbury, is on Wales under-19 duty next week.
He has been called up by coach Geraint Williams for friendlies against Montenegro at Newport next Tuesday and Thursday.
Harry Lewis, the third of the club's players to have attracted international attention, has been invited to an England goalkeeping camp at Warwick University at the end of the month.
