Shirt sales very positive again this season
We have been asked what the sales of replica shirts have been like this season in the wake of the delivery difficulties the club faced pre-season and the adverse publicity this unfortunately caused to the club and Surridge, our suppliers.
We are able to give the following comparisons:
Home replica shirts
For the last JOMA Blue and Amber Stripes home shirt (which was for two seasons) we ordered 2000 and sold 1800. An average of 900 per season. This was very popular and proved to be the best selling home shirt for many years.
Our present Surridge home shirt is selling very well. We ordered 1000 initially and sold out before Christmas. Another 300 were ordered for Christmas and again we sold out. We have secured new stock and sales continue to be positive. 1300 have been sold two thirds through season one.
Away replica shirts
The JOMA white away shirt sold 350
The Surridge “AC Milan”, red and black stripes shirt has already sold 600.
The club is engaged in a 3 year partnership with Surridge as the official kit supplier.
