Young midfielder the latest addition to the Town squad
Shrewsbury Town have signed former Barnsley midfielder Jordan Clark following a successful trial.
Micky Mellon knows all about Clark from his spell as assistant manager at Barnsley and is pleased to have added him to his squad.
Clark has signed a one-year contract at the Greenhous Meadow after featuring in the pre-season friendlies against Chesterfield and West Bromwich Albion.
The 22-year-old played six first team games for Barnsley after making his Championship debut at home to QPR in April 2011.
He also had loan spells with Chesterfield, Scunthorpe and Hyde before leaving Oakwell at the end of last season.
