John Marsden agrees Town deal
Young striker John Marsden has signed a deal with Town after impressing whilst on trial over the last couple of weeks.
Liverpudlian John started out playing in Liverpool before going to Wrexham as a youth. He then had spells at Wigan, Celtic, and trialled at Stoke last year.
He joined up with Town at the start of pre-season and has taken part in the games against TNS, Liverpool and Galatasaray.
John has scored a lot of goals during his short career and manager Graham Turner is hoping he can continue that with Town:”He’s a young player with a lot of potential and he’s done well in training during his time with us.
“We have seen his touch and goal scoring potential in training and his appreciation of where the goal is.
“It’s great to have him on board and we hope that John can fulfil that potential that he has.”
