Academy and Shadow Squad Trials to take place in June
Shrewsbury Town are offering aspiring young footballers the opportunity to join a professional Football League club.Town’s Academy and Shadow Squads are on the search for new players who have the potential to one day make the Shrewsbury Town first team.
They will be hosting trials in June and the details are as follows;
Saturday 10th June
Under 13's 10:30am - 12:30pm
Under 14's 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Sunday 11th June
Under 15's 10:30am - 12:30pm
Under 16's 1:30pm - 3:30pm
The above age groups are applicable for the 2017-2018 season.
All trials will be held at Shrewsbury College - SY2 6PR
To register onto the trials players must email the following information to stfc2017trials@gmail.com

3. Age Group for 2017-18 Season
4. Contact Number & Email Address
5. Current Club(s)
6. Playing Position
All players will receive a confirmation email accepting you onto the trials day upon receipt of registration email.
Shrewsbury Town have had great success at bringing players through the Academy set-up in recent years and the Academy’s Lead Youth Development Phase Coach, Alex Ramsay is excited by the potential players Town could find.
“The trials provide local players with the potential to play at Academy level with an outstanding opportunity to progress onto our development pathway”, said Alex.
“In the past 3 seasons we have had 23 players go through this process and sign for Shrewsbury Town Football Club, whether that be immediately or following development time within our shadow programme.”
