Community invite prospective BTEC students to 'keep warm'
Shrewsbury Town in The Community are inviting those of you who have signed up to our BTEC Level Three Extended Diploma in Football and Education starting September 17th – to attend our ‘keep warm’ event taking place on Tuesday February 28th.Potential BTEC football players and your family (maximum of two guardians per child) can attend the event, taking place at Shrewsbury Football Club and will run from 6-9.45pm.
The event will include an information presentation involving all the details and information regarding this BTEC programme in the community hub. There will be a complimentary buffet available for all potential players and their families to tuck in to whilst listening to the presentation.
This is where you will find out more information about the kit needed and prices for this, the national league games programme, the physical training programme and the enrichment programme, including FA level 1 coaching qualification and much more.
All potential students will then be invited to come and have a friendly kick about over on the Powerleague pitches and start the team bonding process (please bring moulds or trainers with you along with shin pads and training kit – there are changing rooms on sight). This will also be another time for our coaches to meet the players and a coaching session shall take place.
On the night of the event Town will be hosting Charlton Athletic in our League One fixture, as we would also like to invite you to watch the game at Greenhous Meadow. Each potential player will have a free ticket to the game along with two FREE tickets for their guardians who are attending the information presentation with them.
There will be NO ON SITE PARKING FOR THIS EVENT SO PLEASE PARK IN THE NEAR BY PARK & RIDE OR IN THE BROOKLANDS PUB AND WALK OVER!
