Community Hub opens as Family Zone for junior members
Saturday’s game with Chesterfield will see the opening of a brand new Matchday family zone. The family zone, which is exclusive for STFC junior members, will include:FIFA PlayStation competition with prizes,
Children’s competition with prizes,
A visit from Lenny the Lion,
Player Appearances *Subject to availability,
Bar and refreshments,
And much more.
Entry to the ‘Family Zone’ is strictly for up to 2 adults accompanied by a junior member (Under 16) - membership cards will need to be produced upon entry.
Where – The Family Zone is situated in the Community Hub adjacent to the Family stand in the West Stand.
When – The Family Zone will be open pre match from 12.00PM to 2.30PM *Based on a 3PM kick off.
Cost – Cost of entry will be £2 per adult (who must be accompanied by a junior member on entry) with all proceeds going to Shrewsbury Town in the Community.

Head of Community Jamie Edwards said – “This is a real step forward in encouraging children and families to the Greenhous Meadow.
"It is really important that we improve the ‘Matchday experience’ whilst increasing the junior supporter base.”
CEO Brian Caldwell said – “We are working very hard to increase our younger fanbase and hope that this facility will encourage families to come along earlier. I am sure this will enhance the matchday experience for them.
"We are also looking into the possibility of creating a separate supporters bar at the Greenhous Meadow at present which would need to be utilized on non match days to justify the investment but have some ideas on how this can be developed and will update on this as we progress.”
