After a quiet couple of weeks on the loan front we now have two players who are plying their trade away from Shrewsbury.Jim O’Brien joined Ross County this week and his spell back in Scotland couldn’t have got off to a better start as they beat Dundee United 6-2 in the Scottish Cup.
O’Brien replaced former Town man Martin Woods on 53 minutes when County were already 5-2 up and Jim made it six in the 92nd minute when he side footed past former Scotland ‘keeper Cammy Bell after some good work from Liam Boyce.
Meanwhile, Callum Roberts was unable to make his Hednesford Town debut as he had rolled his ankle during the week, but his side did beat Rushall Olympic 2-1.
