Mangan Moves On

4 November 2016

Mangy joins Tranmere Rovers on permanent deal

Striker Andy Mangan has rejoined Tranmere Rovers on a deal until the end of the 2017/18 season for an undisclosed fee.

Mangy rejoined Town from Tranmere in January this year and has gone on to make another 10 appearances for Town.

He originally joined at the start of the 2014/15 season from Forest Green Rovers and his goals played a big part in Town being promoted from Sky Bet League 2.  He quickly became a fans favourite at the Greenhous Meadow and will be remembered for the goal against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup.  He's made 71 appearances for Town and score 16 goals.

Youngster Ethan Jones who was on loan at Tranmere has been recalled and returns to Paul Hurst squad but won't be available for tomorrows FA Cup game at home to Barnet.

More on this and reaction later.
