Third win in a row for Town's Under 18s

George Hassall scored both goals as Shrewsbury Town's youth team made it three wins in a row away at Morecambe.
Hassall's first goal came after some good work down the Town left between Matt Jones, Callum Roberts and George Hughes. Roberts crossed the ball into the box and George Hassall beat his marker to head home.
Town then scored a second when they won the ball in the Morecambe half and Matt Jones played it into the feet of Hassall who turned and shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The result kept Town's decent run going after back to back wins against Accrington Stanley and the boys will now take a deserved Christmas break.
Youth Team Coach Matt Rains was pleased with his side’s performance.
"I think winning just breads confidence and you can tell at the minute that they are enjoying it and they are becoming a little bit more difficult to beat with every game, said Matt.
"You can sense the mentality building and I think when you win and put a good performance with it makes it even sweeter and I think we've had that in the last three games, which has been extremely positive."
"We were always in control of the game at two-nil up in the first half. Second half we got a little bit sloppy towards the end, but we kept a clean sheet and we could have nicked a third late on as well."
Meanwhile, Rains was without two of his players in Ryan Sears and Ryan Barnett who were both called up for first team duty and Matt was delighted for them.
“When the manager mentioned to us on Friday that he would be taking those two we were more than happy no matter how short it left us,” said Rains.
“We can put the under 15s and 16s and hopefully it's the first of many for them and their will be opportunities for others, if they deserve it.
“The managers shown there that if they are doing well enough in the Under 18s then he's going to involve them, whether it's training or in games.”
