Midfielder has left after agreement with club
Shrewsbury Town can confirm that midfielder Richie Wellens has left the club after it was mutually agreed that his contract would be cancelled.The 36 year old joined Town joined during January of this year and contributed to the team that helped Town retain their Sky Bet League 1 status making 12 appearances.
At the end of the season Micky Mellon announced that Richie would be available to move on as he looked to build his squad for this season.
