Season Tickets Pass 2500 Mark

17 April 2017

Early Bird sales up on last season

Season ticket sales for the 2017/18 season have passed the 2,500 mark as the first Early Bird offer closed at midnight on Saturday 15th.

Town fans have been quick to snap up their season ticket after prices were frozen and new prices were introduced in the younger age groups.

The number includes all the season ticket sales and renewals as well as the tickets sold for the executive boxes and Sovereign Club for next season.

Sales are up on the same time last season as season ticket prices now go into the second Early Bird offer which runs until 24th June.  This offer works out at around £15 per game and lets fans wait until next season Sky Bet league fixtures are released.

Town CEO Brian Caldwell is delighted with sales so far and the backing the offer has seen from the Town fans.

“We are delighted and grateful to the over 2,500 who have taken advantage of the Early Bird offer”, said Brian.

“At this stage last season we had sold 2,395 so to have surpassed that for next season is great news.

“Season ticket prices now go into the second Early Bird offer which offers good value per game and runs until after the fixtures are released so fans can check which games they can do.

“Hopefully we can get the points we require over the last three games to secure our League One status.”

Season tickets are on sale now online https://www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc/ or the ticket office at the Greenhous Meadow reopens at 9am on Tuesday 18th.
