Season Tickets selling well

22 March 2017

Nearly 500 season tickets sold within the first three weeks

Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce that nearly 500 Season Tickets have already been sold for the 2017/18 season.

Tickets went on sale on March 1st and the response has been good with more tickets sold this year compared with last season.

Season ticket prices were frozen again this year, meaning an adult season ticket works out at just over £12 a game.

The deadline for early bird prices is the 15th April and Shrewsbury Town’s Chief Executive, Brian Caldwell, is urging fans not to miss out.

“We’re really pleased with how it has gone”, Brian told ShrewsWeb.

“Nearly 500 have renewed already, so hopefully that continues. The first deadline we have extended until the middle of April and we won’t be extending it beyond that.

“It is very good value for money at just over £12 a game, so hopefully we will continue to get a good response and people will continue to renew.

“We extended the deadline to the 15th of April because we were aware that some people don’t get paid until the 15th of the month and that was a problem that came up last year, so hopefully we have taken account of that.

“There is also the option of 10 monthly instalments, which works out at about £30 more over the 10 months in interest, but you are able to do it over 10 months rather than all in one hit.”

There are two clear deadlines for season ticket deals this year with the 15th April and the 24th June. These dates will not be extended as they have in previous years.

Season tickets are now on sale from the ticket office at the Greenhous Meadow, over the phone on 01743 273943 or online https://www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc/
