Take part in Shrewsbury Town in the Community's 5km Fun Run
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are inviting you to take part in our Santa Fun Run event, taking place in December!Whether you run, jog or walk – this event is all about the taking part, not the winning. No previous experience is required and with some training, the 5km distance should easily be within your capabilities; it’s all just a bit of FUN!
All participants will meet at The Community Hub- Shrewsbury Town Football Club at 12pm on Saturday 17th December (you will not be able to park at the ground unless you already have a parking pass for the game later on in the day) in their Santa fancy dress outfits and proceed along the planned route, making a number of stops along the way in order to bucket collect money.
The run will then finish back at The Community Hub for approximately 1pm, allowing participants to join us for celebratory mince pies, hot drinks and the announcement of our fancy dress competition winner before going to their seats and watching the match.
Please note: Participants MUST buy or make their own Santa outfits.
As you know, these funds are incredibly valuable to the charity! So please join us at our Santa Fun Run to help support, inspire and develop our local community through sport.
