Shrewsbury Town in the Community offer Christmas Soccer Schools
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are now taking bookings for their popular soccer schools, taking place in December.The three day course is open to all between the ages of five and 12, and runs from Monday 19th – Wednesday 21st December.
So that parents are able to get some last minute Christmas shopping in, there will be a choice of morning and afternoon sessions!
Over the three days participants will get to take part in tournaments on the Power League pitches next to Greenhous Meadow, go head to head in our Fifa competition and will have the chance to meet the Town players who will be dropping by to pay a visit!
Those who book all week will receive a ticket voucher for the home game against Fleetwood Town on Monday 2nd January.
The full course costs £30 (£27 for junior members), or you can book specific sessions from £5.
The Christmas sessions follow the highly successful October Half Term Soccer Schools, where children had the chance to meet Shrewsbury Town captain Adam El-Abd and take part in a variety of fun sessions.
Community Sports Officer Alex Jones said: “We will have something for everyone this Christmas with our themed days and player appearances. FIFA in the hub, tournaments, skills challenges and goalscoring games will give the children lots to keep them occupied while parents can get in some last minute shopping!”
