Town sign ex Barca winger on loan

Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce the signing of former Barcelona winger Mohamed El-Ouriachi Choulay.
Moha, as he is known, joins from Stoke City on a six month deal, after moving to the Potteries last summer.
The 20-year-old has represented Spain at youth level and has also been called-up by Morocco for their under-23 squad.
He grew up in Barcelona’s famous La Masia training complex, learning from the likes of Lionel Messi and Andreas Iniesta, something which has stood him in good stead
“I played in Barcelona for 5, 6 years,” said Moha.
“I played in the best team in the world, in the academy, so it was good. I played with the youth team and the second team. I sometimes went to training with the first team and I spoke with them.”
He joined Stoke City after turning down a new deal with the Catalan side.
“I came because Stoke City gave me the opportunity to play in the Premier League. At the moment, I play in the under 21s and sometimes I train with the first team.
“Here it’s quick, fast and different football,” he added.
Shrewsbury will be Moha’s first loan spell with a club and he is looking forward to working with Manager Micky Mellon.
“He’s a good man, I spoke with him and he gives confidence,” Moha said.
“I want to play in the first team and I want more experience in English football and play games. I am a quick winger and I am fast.”
