Town travel to Solihull for the next game of pre-season
Shrewsbury Town travel to Solihull Moors this weekend following the narrow win over Birmingham City on Tuesday evening. Managed by Marcus Bignot who played for Telford early in his career before moving into the football league with clubs like Q.P.R. Millwall and Crewe eventually ending up at Solihull as manager in 2011. Since then he has achieved a 40.6% win ratio from over 200 games.
Last season, Bignot guided Moors to the National League North championship which saw them promoted to the National League for the start of this season.
So far this closed season Moors have Drawn with Oxford United at home, lost 3-1 to Birmingham City at home, lost to Walsall 0-5 at home, drawn 0-0 at Telford and lost 2-0 at Hednesford.
Familiar faces in Moors squad include Shrewsbury Gavin Cowan and Steve Leslie as well as Akwasi Assante who played for us 8 times on loan from Birmingham City and scored once.
Prediction
As ever I got it completely wrong for the Birmingham game but as I used dice to make the prediction I am blameless. This time I tried to use Ceylon tea leaves try and ascertain a prediction but as I have no idea how to interpret them it hasn't worked out so I'll just guess!
