Good win for Town with goals from AJ, Dodds, Sarcevic and Whalley

Micky Mellon names a strong looking starting XI as Town continue their pre-season games programme with the short trip to Solihull Moors.
Town got their noses in front with 2 minutes on the clock after a nice ball from Joe Riley put AJ Leitch-Smith in on goal, he watched the ball drop and then hit a superb half volley across the goal and into the far corner giving Lewis in the Solihull goal no chance.
Town were looking bright as an attacking force and were looking to get forward whenever they could, a positive run from Riley saw him drive forward and then nick the ball between the defence for Leitch-Smith, he cut the ball back to Sarcevic who looked to get a shot in on goal but it was blocked.
It was 2-0 with just over 7 minutes on the clock, more Town pressure saw the ball come to Louis Dodds on the edge of the box and he chipped a lovely shot in that gave Lewis in the Solihull goal no chance.
Town were putting in an excellent attacking performance and were playing the majority of the game in the Solihull half, there was good passing and movement and some decent chances but the score remained the same.
Solihull's best chance of the game so far came on 24 minutes and it was from a set-piece, the corner ball was delivered high into the Town box and Gav Cowan was up highest but his header was just over the Town bar.
On the half-hour mark AJ Leitch-Smith picked the ball up on the edge of the Solihull box, he drove forward positevly and into the danger area, he rode a couple of challenges before hitting in a low shot but Lewis was at his nearpost to save.
Town were 3-0 up with 10 minutes of the half remaining, more positive attacking play saw the Town break down the right, the ball was with Riley who played it to the back post from Ethan Jones, he get his effort in on goal but Lewis saved, he could only parry it as far as Sarcevic who put the ball home to make it 3-0.
Town were awarded a penalty just before the break after Whalley drove into the box and went to ground under a challenge from Franklin. It was Whalley who took responsibility and placed the ball, he hit a decent shot in but Lewis saved, he couldn't hold onto the ball and Whalley pounced and hit in a superb left footed shot back across goal to make it 4-0 to Town .

Town continued to push and attack and they were using the ball well to keep the pressure on in the Solihull half. There weren't that many clear cut chances for the visitors in the opening exchanges but they were looking to get the ball forward quickly and with pace.
Solihull had a good chance from a dangerous area after Lancashire was adjudged to have pulled back Asanta, the ball was placed by Beswick and his free-kick looked decent but the wall did it's job and blocked the shot.
Moment s later Ethan Jones showed good strength and determination to win the ball off Murombedzi, he drove in on goal and put in a decent shot on target but Lewis was equal to it with a strong save.
With 60 minutes on the clock Town rang the changes and it was a change of all eleven players with Barnett, Burton, Sadler, Smith, Mangan, Grogan, Deegan, McAtee, Anderson, Gallagher, Wellens and El-Abd coming on.
Town were moving the ball around nicely and were stretching the homesides defence, the ball dropped to Grogan who got his shot in on target but it just lacked the pace to trouble Lewis too much.
Town were finishing strongly but Lewis in the Solihull goal was looking to keep the score at 4-0, he first pulled off a double save from Barnett and then Mangan, and moments later another double save from Wellens and then Anderson on the follow up.
