Good workout for Town but will disappointed with the goals conceeded

Micky Mellon keeps to his word and names a starting line-up that consists mainly of those who played the last 30 minutes at Solihull Moors on Saturday. Ian Black and Jim O'Brien have recovered from injury and get a run out.
The best chance of the opening exchanges saw the ball cleared long from the Stourbridge defence, a nice flick on from Benbow saw Brown in behind the Town defence and in on goal, but Burton had anticipated and was quickly out to clear.
It was the home side who got their noses in front after 7 minutes, a long throw from Tonks saw Joe Hull rise well, he got a good downward header in on goal that beat Burton at the far post.
Town had a decent opening on 12 minutes after some neat football saw the ball played in behind the Glassboys defence for Salder, he got a decent cross to the backpost to find the trialist who got a shot in goal but it was turned behind for a corner.
At the midway point of the half it was Stourbridge who were creating the better chances, first with Benbow hitting a long range effort in that Burton held onto well then moments later it was Lait who drove though the Town midfield before drilling in a long range shot that was just wide.
Town's chances had been few in the half but when Jim O'Brien clipped in a decent free-kick it found Tyrone Barnett on the edge of the box, he flicked in a header but it was wide of the target.
The ball was played back to the Town defence, Dom Smith looked to have it covered but got a call to let it run, Brown nicked in to gain possession but Burton stayed alert and was there to pull off the save.
Sadler got a good ball into the Stourbridge danger area and Ty Barnett got into the space to get the header in on goal but Gould in the Glassboys goal was there to pull off the save.
Town were down to 10 men after Adam El-Abd had to leave the pitch with a cut to his head, Skitty got the bandages out and after a few minutes of treatment El-Abd was ok to continue.
Stourbridge nearly doubled their lead just before the break, neat football between Brown and Benbow saw the homeside in behind the Town defence, the ball was crossed low to find Scarr unmarked at the backpost, his shot beat Burton but Black was covering to clear off the line.

The second half started with a change for Town with Ethan Jones coming on to replace the trialist.
Youngsters Callum Grogan and Ethan Jones combined well to create a chance for Town, Grogan played a lovely ball down the line to put Jones in behind the home defence, he kept his run going into the box and got a decent shot in but it was blocked for a corner.
On 60 minutes Town made changes with Callum Grogan, Ian Black and Jim O'Brien coming off and Ryan Sears, Chris Gallagher and the other trialist coming on to replace them.
It was 2-0 to Stourbridge minutes later after Town failed to clear the ball from the edge of the box, it was there to hit and Chris Lait connected sweetly to drill it past Burton and double the home side lead.
Town's final changes were on 71 minutes with Ryan Seers and Kaimen Anderson coming on to replace Tyrone Barnett and Andy Mangan.
Stourbridge were looking the better of the attacking sides and after some good pressure around the Town box the ball dropped to Lait, he drilled in a low shot but Burton was equal to it and stuck out a foot to block.
