What was the first team you played for and were they any good? Castle Youth, and they were very good.

Do you have a nickname? If so, what it is? Not really, people just call me Eth.

How were you spotted by Shrewsbury? After Wolves, they phoned me to come down.

How long have you been at the club? This is my third year.

Who has been the biggest influence on you since joining the club? My family.

What are your strengths as a player? Speed, power and strength.

If you could improve one part of your game, what would it be? To stay switched on more.

What would be a successful 12 months for you now? To be with the first team and trying to get a squad number.

How much interaction do you have with the first team? Not a lot.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given? Just to be confident.

What boots do you wear? Nike Hypervenoms or Mercurials.

Are you any good at any other sports? Yes, basketball.

What other non-footballing sportsman do you most admire? Jon Jones, the UFC fighter.
