48th marathon started at the Greenhous Meadow
Amy Hughes from Oswestry popped into the Greenhous Meadow to begin her 48th marathon in a row. Town physio Chris Skitt was on hand to help her prepare for her latest 26 miles on the roads around Shrewsbury, before returning to the stadium for a well earned rest.Amy Hughes, who's raising money for The Isabelle Lottie Foundation, is now in the final week of her world record attempt of running 53 marathons in as many consecutive days.
She completed her 47th in Wolverhampton yesterday and will go to her hometown of Oswestry later this week.
