Tom Bradshaw Joins Walsall

Bradshaw turns down contract with Town to move to Banks’s Stadium

Tom Bradshaw has turned down the offer of an improved contract with Town and made the decision to join League 1 side Walsall on a two year deal.

Bradshaw was offered a new deal with Town at the end of last season but after weighing up his options over the summer has finally decided that his future lies away from the Greenhous Meadow, with the lure of league 1 football a major factor.

With Tom being 21 years of age and the clubs have reached a financial agreement for the former Welsh U21 striker to join the Saddlers.

Tom joined Town’s youth system from Aberystwyth Town and then progressed through the ranks and into the first team.  He marked his first team debut in style with two goals that helped Town to a 3-0 win away to Crewe Alexandra in April 2010.  He’s made nearly 100 first team appearances in his time with the club and finished last season in good form with goals against Crewe and Peterborough after injury had kept him out of action for several months.

The club would like to thank Tom for all he has done during his time at the Shrewsbury Town and wish him well for the future.
