Micky Provides Injury Update

Vincent out for four-six weeks with hamstring

Manager Micky Mellon has confirmed that Ashley Vincent will be out for four-six weeks following the hamstring injury he suffered at Northampton Town.

The forward had to be replaced by James Collins moments before half-time at Sixfields Stadium after pulling up with the problem when on the run.

"Ash has done his hamstring so it's likely to be four-six weeks before he's back which is unfortunate for the Club," said Micky.

"It's a shame because he's never really had that type of injury before so it's new to him, but we'll try to get him back 100 per cent ready as soon as possible.

"It's why we did all the recruitment we did in the summer, to try and cope with these eventualities.

"We've lost Liam (Lawrence, suspended) for three games as well."

Micky also said the following regarding the injured Mark Ellis and David McAllister: "Ellis is still coming back from his injury. It might be another week before we can start to think about selecting him but he's done a little bit of training.

"McAllister's getting better in training every day but he's still a bit away from selection."
