Young midfielder Niall Flint will travel with the Shrewsbury Town first team for the first time to Carlisle United tonight.
It is just reward for the first year scholar who has impressed in Town's youth and reserve teams this season.
A Shropshire lad from Newport and a former Burton Borough School pupil, he is aged 16 and does not turn 17 until August.
Niall, who has been handed the number 33 shirt, has been a member of the club's Academy since he was 12.
Academy manager Steve Reece said: "Niall has been training with the first team for the past six weeks and has done well.
"He's had a good season playing in the youth and reserve teams and to now be travelling with the first team is great experience for him.
"He's a busy little midfield player who is very creative."
