Town home to Norwich City

Capital One Cup draw gives Town home advantage

The draw for the 3rd Round of the Capital One Cup has taken place and Town have been drawn at home to Norwich City.

The teams haven't played each other since the 80's with the two meeting in the league in the 85/86 season and in the League Cup in the 80/81 season.

Town have so far beaten Championship side Blackpool at the Greenhous Meadow and Premier League side Leicester City at their King Power Stadium, the first time Town have beaten top flight opposition away from home in their history.

It will be another big test for Micky Mellon's side as Norwich look to bounce back to the Premier League after last seasons disappointment of relegation.  It will be a game though that Town will look forward to as they have shown so far in the competition that they can compete with any opposition.
