Town take on Chesterfield and Altrincham in pre-season games
Shrewsbury Town have confirmed another two pre-season friendlies in their build up to the SkyBet League kick-off.
Town will welcome newly promoted Chesterfield to the Greenhous Meadow on Saturday 12th July with a 3pm kick-off.
Micky Mellon’s side will then make the short trip up to Altrincham on Friday 1st August with a 7:45pm kick-off to take on the Skrill Conference North side.
The games will prove different test for the new look Town side with Altrincham gaining promotion to the Conference Premier through the play-offs, while Chesterfield finished top of the Sky Bet League 2 table.
Town’s pre-season programme now looks like:-
Saturday 12th July – Chesterfield – H – 3pm kick-off
Tuesday 15th July – WBA – H – 7:45pm kick-off
Tuesday 29th July – Kidderminster Harriers – A – 7:45pm kick-off
Friday 1st August – Altrincham – A - 7:45pm kick-off
