Town squad use gym and swimming pool at the school
Manager Micky Mellon has thanked Shrewsbury School for allowing his squad to use their facilities for match preparation.Town's players undertook a light session at the school on Thursday which involved both gym work and swimming.
"The facilities (at the school) are second to none," said Micky.
“It’s brilliant that Shrewsbury School support us in what we’re doing and allow us to use the facilities to get the players back up to speed again, so a big thank you to them for allowing us to go up there.
“There’s some unbelievable Shrewsbury pictures at the school as well, they’re different class.
"They also have different facilities we use like the swimming pool and the gym.
“The whole community is brilliant with the Football Club, even they guys up at the RAF are brilliant and help us immensely.
“We make sure we let the players know the responsibility of performing well for the community."
