2013/14 Matchday prices confirmed

9 July 2013

Matchday frozen and dynamic ticket prices announced

Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce the ticket prices for the forthcoming 2013/14 league 1 campaign. Prices on the day are frozen at 2012/13 prices. The club are also introducing a new ticketing structure, which, in light of the current economic climate, rewards supporters who purchase in advance of a fixture. Supporters who now purchase 4 weeks or more in advance of a fixture can now save up to £5 per match.

General Manager Andrew Pugh said “Following many productive meetings with the various supporter groups and listening to comments raised, the club feel this is a very positive step towards improving fan engagement between its supporters and the club. The dynamic pricing is seen by the club as a way of rewarding those supporters who may not be able to purchase a season ticket but attend many games per season.  Season ticket holders will continue to receive even more benefits through their scheme.”

With high profile fixtures such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bristol City, Sheffield United and local competition including Walsall, Port Vale, Crewe and Coventry all coming to the Greenhous Meadow, this season promises to be an exciting one.

Tickets for first few games of the season are now on sale.  The pricing structure is shown on the table here -> Dynamic Ticketing 2013-14 Season

Tickets can be purchased in person during normal office hours, over the phone on 01743 273 943 or online at www.shrewsburyfc.talent-sport.co.uk

Early Bird prices available on matchdays!

Shrewsbury Town  can purchase tickets for games at the Greenhous Meadow up to an hour before kick-off at reduced prices. Early Bird match prices have now been extended for supporters who wish to take up the saving of £2.

• Matchday prices will not be enforced until after 2pm for Saturday matches and 6pm for night matches, giving the supporter chance to claim the early bird rate and saving them £2.

• Online sales will extend to 12noon on a Saturday matchday instead of 10am, and 4pm for night matches.

• Supporters who purchase tickets online can either have the choice of collection or post, if collection is selected then supporters will not be charged a £1 booking fee. If supporters select post, a £1 fee will be charged for postage.
