Salop Leisure is a fantastic local success story, founded the year England won the World Cup, 1966. It started life as Salop Caravans with offices and show rooms in Meole Brace. The company identified that there was a need for not only the sale of caravans, but ancillary services such as servicing and extra sales of accessories.
Salop Leisure commenced the building of a new state of the art caravan and show room at Emstrey and in 2006 the new £6 million facility was completed, which now offers not only sales facilities, but also servicing and a modern restaurant. The decision recently was made to rebrand and the name was changed to Salop Leisure.
Today the company has 3 dealerships in Shrewsbury, Stourport-on-Severn and Machynlleth and have a wide variety of stock including 165 caravans and motor homes and caravan holiday homes permanently on display.
