Young defender joins from Championship side
Town have confirmed the loan signing of Josh Passley on loan from Championship side Fulham until early January.Josh is a versatile defender who has been utilised as an attacking right-back at Fulham but can also slot into centre-back or play on the wing if needed.
With Jack Grimmer returning to Fulham on Monday Micky Mellon has moved quickly to bolster his defensive options with a busy December and New Year on the horizon.
The 20 year old has progressed though the youth ranks at Fulham and is a regular in their U21 development squad. He’s made the one first team appearance in the FA Cup as well as being named a substitute for the first team on a number of occasions.
Josh signs on a youth loan which runs until January 5th and he has been cleared to play in the FA Cup game at Preston if selected.
