Mickey gets checked over at hospital and all checks out
Mickey Demetriou left the pitch in the second half after he was caught by Tranmere’s Kayode Odejayi as the two challenged for the ball.Mickey left on a stretcher as a precaution after it was felt he may have concussion following the challenge and he was then taken to the local Arrowe Park Hospital for further assessment.
After seeing the doctors and having a CT scan everyone was happy with the results and Mickey was given the all clear to return home.
He traveled home with the Town media team and was in good form other than a slight headache and a sore jaw. He thanks the fans for all the messages of concern and he’s gone home to put his feet up.
