“I have to say now that, I am really humbled by the way they have continued to support us.”
“It’s a club with proud traditions so that’s what we try to do.
“It’s not something that we just brush off, we want to be winning games of football here for the punters, the supporters of the football club.
“We haven’t won enough games at home, that’s for sure and that’s something that we and that is something we are working very to try and fix,” said Micky.
The manager also feels humbled that the fans have stuck with side through thick and thin throughout the season.
“I don’t care about anything else, only that Shrewsbury get the win.”
“Saturday is another opportunity for us to win a game of football and that definitely what we should be trying to do.
“We are moving closer to that I believe and I want to continue to do that.
“I want to find a way to win, or give ourselves a chance of winning, games of football a lot.
“I want to win because it’s what I want to do for the football club and for the fans.
“Just go and get that done and if you get your principles right, then you will give us a better chance of winning the game.
“It’s about what you are doing in the now and it’ll be about making sure that every moment you take part for the team, you get it right.
“A way I try and focus the players is by telling them the scoreboard will settle itself by the end of the game,” said Micky.
Micky also tells his players that, even though the side could confirm safety this weekend, to not worry about the score and focus on them during the game.
