New junior bands and prices frozen
Shrewsbury Town have confirmed their season ticket prices for the 2016/17 Sky Bet League campaign.Buying a season ticket will let you take your place in the Greenhous Meadow and secure your seat for the whole of Town’s league campaign. The season ticket also guarantees your seat for any cup games should Town once again draw a big side such as Chelsea or Manchester United who we have played in recent seasons.
The prices for younger people and junior tickets have been adjusted and simplified to make it easier for young fans to continue to support the club as they grow up.
Season tickets for U8s are once again free. In category B areas, fans aged 8 to 11 will pay £45 and a new age band will see fans aged 12 to 18 pay £99 when buying at Early Bird prices.
There is a new young adult/student band that will cost fans aged 19 to 21 and students £200 when buying at Early Bird prices.
Prices for adults, seniors and families have been frozen once again with supporters paying what they have this season.
The Family Ticket price is available for all blocks in the Greenhous Meadow, other than blocks 2 and 16, and not just restricted to the Family Stand.
CEO Brian Caldwell has been looking at the season tickets that the club offers and is looking to attract younger fans to the Greenhous Meadow.
“Something that has always surprised me is that a young fan will be expected to pay a lot more money for a season ticket when they reach the age of 12. I’ve always wondered why that was the case and thought it was wrong,” said Brian.
“With the new season ticket prices we have simplified the younger age bands and think we can now offer excellent savings to take a young fan through until they reach 21.
"Season tickets after they reach that age will still represent great value for money with the adult season ticket at Early Bird prices offering just over 8 games for free and a saving of £165 on the full priced season ticket.
“We have kept the other season ticket prices the same as last season to reward the loyal Shrewsbury Town supporters who have backed the team in their numbers this season.”

Existing season ticket holders have until 27th May to renew their existing seat after that date the seats will be released for general sale.
