Season ticket sales pass the 2,500 mark

18 April 2016

Fans snap up the Early Bird offer

Town fans have been quick to snap to their season tickets for the 2016/17 Sky Bet League season at the Early Bird prices.

There were great savings during the Early Bird period which gave fans around eight free games as well as securing their seat for the whole of next season.

There has been a good up take on the new family and junior supporter season tickets after the club reduced the junior prices to help encourage the next generation of Shrewsbury Town fans.

After the ticket office closed this evening just after 6pm the current sales figures were past the 2,500 mark.

Town's CEO Brian Caldwell is pleased with the uptake during the Early Bird sales.

“We've sold just over 2,500 season tickets during the Early Bird offer and we are delighted with the uptake.

“We obviously hope we can do more and hopefully the team can produce over these last games of the season and retain our League 1 status.

“Our aims are to encourage more people to come to the Greenhous Meadow and during this second discounted period the season ticket still offers excellent value for next season.

“We are working with the Supporters parliament to improve the matchday experience and are starting to pick off some of the issues that have been raised.”
Season tickets are now at the second discounted rate which runs until 27th May and gives great savings across all of the season tickets for the 2016/17 Sky Bet League campaign.

The prize draw to win back the cost of your season ticket and other prizes will take place on Monday 18th April.
