Abu Ogogo On Sheffield United Clash

24 November 2015

Midfielder Excited For First Visit To Bramall Lane

"I play the same whether it's in the park with my friends or on a Saturday or Tuesday nights here," he said.

"My mates complain that I kick them too much but that's just the way I play, I can't help it."

The 26-year-old insists that, no matter the opposition, he will always play in his usual style.
"It's exactly why we wanted to win promotion," said Ogogo.

"They (Wigan and Sheffield United) are great grounds to go to.

"I've never been to Sheffield United myself, but they're a big team, one of the biggest in the league.

"It'll be a good crowd and we're looking forward to it.

"I'm excited to get to grounds and play at clubs that are new to me.

"When the fiixture list comes out there's a few teams that I looked for - Wigan, Sheffield, Millwall and Coventry.

"You go there and there are bigger changing rooms, bigger crowds, better and bigger pitches, so you look forward to going to those kinds of places."

Bramall Lane is one of the biggest stadiums in League One and Ogogo, who has never played at the home of the Blades, is excited to be visiting a new club for the first time.

Town take on the Blades in Sky Bet League 1 at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night (7.45pm kick-off) looking to build on the positives in the performance at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Midfielder Abu Ogogo insists fixtures such as Sheffield United away are the reason why Shrewsbury Town wanted to win promotion last season.
