"One (target) will hopefully be goals next year," he said.

"I missed out on a few due last season to other factors like where I was playing etc, but like I said in Micky’s conversation, I want to chip in with some goals next year."

And the midfielder is looking to add goals for Shrewsbury next season.

Sarcevic scored 15 goals in his first season at Fleetwood as he helped the Cod Army to promotion from League Two.
"It was a tough season last season and I just wanted to have a good holiday with my partner and then sit down with my agent, and there were quite a few clubs interested.

"As soon as Shrewsbury was one of them, I wanted to get it done."

"I’m made up that it’s finally done," Sarcevic told shrewsburytown.com.

"As soon as I knew the interest, I just wanted to get it done and dusted.

"A massive factor for myself is to enjoy my football again.

"What Micky (Mellon) has said to me and what he wants from me was a massive thing for me to get this move done.

And the midfielder is now excited to start his new challenge at Greenhous Meadow.

Sarcevic, born in Manchester, scored the goal which won Fleetwood promotion from Sky Bet League 2 in 2014.

The 24-year-old, who has spent the last three seasons at Fleetwood Town, becomes manager Micky Mellon's fourth signing of the summer.

Shrewsbury Town is delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Antoni Sarcevic on a two-year deal.
