Young Group Of Players Sign For Academy
Shrewsbury Town were delighted to welcome the new Academy Under-8s players to the final home game against Peterborough United.
The nine players: Bayden Ngo-Zulu, Daniel Shore, Oliver Sidradski, Isaac England, Lucas Bonnet-Wheatley, Dara Everton, Tommy Clayton, Ethan Savage and Brandon Wust have all signed for the Club's Academy.
Shrewsbury Town's lead foundation phase coach, Ben King, hopes the youngsters can follow in the footsteps of the likes of Dominic Smith and progress through the Academy.
"I am extremely excited by the Under-8s we have signing for the Academy," said King.
"They have all shown great potential not only in the training but also in games against the likes of Coventry City, Swindon Town and Leicester City.
"They will be joining some of the excellent players we currently have coming through the Academy and will be aspiring to be playing for the first team some day like the recent Academy starlet, Dominic Smith."
