And Shrewsbury held on for another three points in the Youth Alliance - North West league.
Fleetwood pushed for an equaliser and went close with two minutes of normal time left when substitute Dan Mooney latched onto a ball over the top and saw his first-time half-volley superbly tipped behind.
Ethan Jones sent a shot wide with 25 minutes left while, at the other end, Hancox's corner was headed just wide by Myers.
Grogan also guided a low header just wide of the left post from another Gallagher corner with an hour on the clock.
Lightning almost struck twice as Gallagher again sent in a corner from the right and this time Wilson's powerful header was expertly tipped over the crossbar by Elliott Wynne.
Gallagher whipped in a corner from the right and Wilson fired a downward header into the Fleetwood net for the game's first goal.
The second-year scholar did break the deadlock in the 52nd minute, though.
And the striker almost scored within five minutes of coming on as he blasted over in the box with a first-time shot from Ethan Jones' pullback.
Dawes made another changes during the interval with Wilson replacing Tom King on the left.

And despite an eventful first period, it remained goalless at the break.
Fleetwood had one last chance before half-time when Myers saw a free header at the far post well saved from Jordan Hancox's corner.
Shrewsbury also had a penalty shout before the break when Carta robbed Shorrock in his own penalty and was barged over - nothing was given, though.
At the other end, just a minute later, Ethan Jones pulled the ball back for Gallagher around 12 yards out, his low shot was blocked on the goal-line before the Northern Irishman fired over at the second attempt.
Ten minutes before the break, Lewis Shorrock picked out Myers from a free-kick and the winger saw a powerful header across goal superbly saved.
Fleetwood had another effort on goal with 26 minutes on the clock as Myers drilled a low shot just past the far post from the left.
Joel Carta also shot low and wide of the left post a minute later, and Shrewsbury were forced into an early change as Roberts came off injured for Millis.
Myers dragged a shot wide for the visitors in the 15th minute, although the Shrews went even closer when Ethan Jones blasted over after a scramble in the box from Gallagher's corner.
At the other end, Hassall chased down a misplaced header back to the Cod Army goalkeeper but the ball rolled just wide for a corner before he could get there to tap into an empty net.
Town got the game underway at Shrewsbury Sports Village although it was Fleetwood who went closest to breaking the deadlock in the ninth minute when Louis Myers rattled the crossbar with a free-kick from a central position around 25 yards out.
FIRST HALF
Callum Roberts, Callum Grogan, Joe Kenton, Gallagher and Ethan Jones all came back into the starting line-up at the expense of Ryan Sears, Nathan Millis, Joel Bonner, Ryan Barnett and Ravi Shamsi.
Head of Academy coaching Ian Dawes made five changes to the side which beat Morecambe 3-1 on Saturday.

Town had chances to increase their lead afterwards, while Fleetwood went close to equalising at the end, but Shrewsbury held on for all three points.
The striker popped up to head home from Christopher Gallagher's corner at Shrewsbury Sports Village in the 52nd minute.
