Two-Year Agreement With Maxwell Amenity

"We are delighted to be formally working with our local league club Shrewsbury Town in helping them to develop and progress their facilities.

"We supply advice, products and training to a diverse portfolio of customers, including some of the world’s largest clubs.

"In recent years we have created over 50 new jobs at our Allscott based site, and now welcome Richard and Andrew to the team.

"Strategically, it has always been a key goal to partner with local sports clubs and the deal with Shrewsbury Town emphasises our focus and commitment to see this happen."
Maxwell Amenity Managing Director, Dave Saltman, commented:

"We are pleased to have entered into this new agreement with Maxwell Amenity and look forward to working with them.

"Our existing grounds team of Richard Barnett and Andrew Muir will join the staff at Maxwell Amenity. The aim is to improve the pitches, and with expertise and manpower we are hoping this will prove to the case.

"Richard and Andrew have done an excellent job and ALS will help to continue that improvement of the training pitches and the Greenhous Meadow pitch.

"The team want to play an attractive passing brand of football and hopefully this new deal will give them a surface to help achieve this."
Speaking about the new deal, Town's chief executive Matt Williams said:

This access to local expertise, technology and products that are used at the highest level of sport in the UK and around the world will help Shrewsbury provide a matchday surface and training facilities that manager Micky Mellon can further develop his chosen brand of football.

Maxwell Amenity, which operates through market leading brands Pitchcare.com and Amenity Land Solutions (ALS), have long experience of project managing many high profile venues including the Millennium Stadium and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.0

Shrewsbury Town have entered into a two-year agreement with Shropshire-based company Maxwell Amenity - which will see the company oversee the agronomy, maintenance and pitch management of the Greenhous Meadow and Sundorne Castle sites.
