All girls are welcome to attend this session with it being free of charge.
The Club will be holding a talent identification evening on Wednesday 2 September at Shrewsbury College from 5-6pm, with age groups at under-9s, 11s, 13s and 16s.
When at The New Saints Ladies under-16s and under-10s won the FA National Futsal Cup, also winning the West Midlands and Shropshire competitions along the way.
While at The New Saints, Peter has worked with all age groups but the most notable achievements came in 2013 and 2015.
He currently works with the boys academy at Shrewsbury, working in the foundation phase.
Peter started his coaching career at Shrewsbury Town Girls Centre of Excellence before working for the Shropshire FA Girls player development centre, TNS ladies and Central Wales Girls Performance Centre.
He currently holds a UEFA B Licence qualification in coaching football along with the FA Youth Award.
Peter joins Shrewsbury Town from The New Saints Football Club where he has been since 2010.
Peter Wilson joins the Shrewsbury Town in the Community team, heading up the girls and women’s development at Shrewsbury Town, developing a pathway including: Girls Advanced Development Centre, Girls Development Centre, College Futsal programme and the adult Ladies side.
The aim of the centre is to help the development of grassroots football in the area with the girls still being able to play for their club side while providing extra training time from Shrewsbury Town coaches and a fixture programme against other community trust's within the Football League and Premier League.
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are relaunching the Girls Development Centre in September.
