Young Members Watched Training On Tuesday
"The event was a great success with just over 30 members of the Junior Shrews coming in to meet the players and then watch them train."All of the kids and some of the parents seemed to enjoy themselves and the feedback from all has been positive.
"It is our first event for the Junior Shrews this season and there will be other events and chances to meet the players throughout the rest of the season.
"I am just tying up the loose ends on the Christmas Event which I am hoping to announce in the coming weeks to our members."
Shrewsbury Town's ticket office manager Greg Douglas said:
It was the first members-only event of the season with more to come between now and May - the next one being the Christmas event.
The event was held at Greenhous Meadow from 9.30am on Tuesday and finished at around 12pm.
35 members were invited to meet the first team squad for photos and autographs and then watch manager Micky Mellon and his coaching staff take training.
Junior Shrews members got to meet their Shrewsbury Town heroes on Tuesday morning.
