SUBS: Zain Pervaiz, Jade Jones, Lauren Jones, Becki Bown.

SHREWSBURY TOWN LINE-UP: Beth Cleveley, Beth Francis, Tash Broome (c), Charlotte Turner, Kim Winton, Jasmyn Driver, Nicola Durnall, Daisy Bradshaw, Danni Smith, Charlotte Sewell, Alex Morris.

The Ladies' focus now turns to next weeks FA CUP match at Coventry Development.

"I thought Zain did superb," said Evans.

"She only met the team before kick off but I thought the link up between herself and the rest of the team was at times a joy to watch.

"Every single player put in a shift today, we go into next weeks huge cup game knowing what the prize is with nothing to fear at all."

New signing Zain Pervaiz came off the bench to make her debut for Town.

"I'm delighted with the effort the ladies put in," said Evans.

"After falling behind early on we regrouped and showed tremendous character to deservedly get something out of the game.

"We didn't start on the front foot and were punished for it but we changed the formation and from then on we dominated large spells of the game.

"It was a very open game with Stone, we always have good games with them.

"We started to play our football the way I know we can. We deserved the goal, it was an excellent finish from Danni."

Shrewsbury Town Ladies manager Sean Evans was delighted with the character his team showed after falling behind.

Both teams continued to cancel each other out in the last 10 minutes and so it finished all-square.

Shrewsbury got a deserved equaliser with 15 minutes to go after some great link-up play in midfield set up Danni Smith who coolly slotted home.

Stone continued to push Town with the dangerous Mollie Prime kept quiet by the impressive Tash Broome.

In the second half, Town continued on the front foot playing some excellent football but couldn't find that killer finish.

After a switch in formation to 3-5-2 and the introduction of Pervaiz and Jade Jones, Town emerged the stronger of the two going into the break. The worry was that half-time had come to soon with Town back in control of the game.

With the weather being rather hot, the referee called for a water break on 25 minutes - this was to the home side's advantage.

Cleveley was having to keep Town in the game with some top-class saves.

It was a shock to the system for Town, and Stone continued to dominate possession and tested Cleveley in the Shrewsbury goal.

Town ladies got off to the worst possible start when a shot from 25 yards out beat Cleveley and nestled into the roof of the net in the first minute.

Town welcomed former Wolves centre midfielder Zain Pervaiz into the squad after signing on Thursday, and there was a recall for Charlotte Turner in defence and Nicola Durnall after serving her one-game suspension.

Shrewsbury Town Ladies continued their unbeaten start to the season with a hard-fought draw against last season's Staffs County league champions Stone Dominoes on Sunday.
