Manager Hails Town's 'Complete Performance'

"I think we did the basics well and made them defend by the hard running of our front players, and it's another clean sheet for the whole team," said Micky.
"There is not one individual who has the role of defending at this football club so everybody can really be proud of that."
The win also meant Shrewsbury have now kept 22 clean sheets, another thing that delighted Micky.
"He showed us what he was capable of and he will probably be disappointed he didn’t get another one, but he is a massive part of what we do here," said Micky.
"He will deserve all the plaudits which will come his way for two unbelievable goals."
And Micky heaped praise on forward Grant, who scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season.
"It is probably the best performance and best result I have had since I come to the club, it was a complete performance," said Micky.
"We need to keep performing as the challenges come towards us.
"We won’t let them get to carried away but we will make sure they enjoy their wins because we work so hard during the week in preparation.
"We will remain very professional. I am delighted for the fans, it was such a lift to see how many fans had made the trip and it was such a boost to me and the team to have them there to roar us on."
And the manager even went as far to suggest it was the best performance since he took over at the Greenhous Meadow last summer.
A goal in each half from Bobby Grant was enough to ensure Town left Fratton Park with all three points on Saturday, closing the gap to Sky Bet League 2 leaders Burton Albion to two points.
