Striker Delighted To Join On Youth Loan

“I heard about it on Tuesday afternoon, they asked me if I was interested," said the striker.
“Obviously I was interested but I had to think, but half an hour later they said the manager wants to make the deal now so I said lets go.
"Since I joined, all the lads have been top-draw with me. I have met most of them and they are trying to make me feel welcome."
The move in the end happened very quickly for Mandron but he relished his first training session and is now feeling very comfortable at the club already.
He said: “I know what is expected of me and I know what the league is about so I am looking forward to having a second go at it and to play.
“I believe the club is in a great place at the minute and I hope I will be able to help the club go onto promotion."
Mandron, who went on loan to Fleetwood Town last season, is now looking forward to having another go at playing in Sky Bet League 2.
"I have been playing in the Under-21 Premier League for three years and it’s the top level in the country and probably one of the best standard in Europe," said Mandron.
"I was also lucky enough to make a Premier League appearance against Liverpool which was a great experience."
The striker is hoping he can use his experience with Sunderland's under-21s to help Town's promotion push this season.
“I knew the manager had been looking at me for a while, he knows me as a player, he knows my game, and it is definitely a good thing when a manager wants you for your ability as a player," said Mandron.
And the Frenchman insisted Town manager Micky Mellon’s knowledge of his game was one of the major reasons why he decided the move was the right one.
The 20-year-old has been a regular in the Black Cats' under-21s side this season but moved to the Greenhous Meadow on loan until the end of the season on Wednesday.
