Rhys Sharpe serves his one-match ban following his red card against Oxford.

Micky also confirmed that Town have no fresh injury troubles.

"He (Bobby) is a real talent," said Micky.

"He is somebody we enjoy having here at the club and he is well capable of scoring goals.

"We want him to continue to do that because he has an unbelievable left foot and we are hoping he can score us some goals at what is an important time in the season."

And Micky praised the form of on-loan Blackpool winger Bobby Grant, who has rediscovered his goal-scoring form with three in his last five.

"We want to catch them (Burton) without a shadow of a doubt," said Micky.

"They are the pace-setters who everybody wants to catch, but to reduce that deficit we will have to win on Saturday.

"I think things are going fantastic, but like I keep saying that is work that’s been done and now we need to keep on going in these last eight games, taking every half as it comes and keeping our focus to ensure we keep performing and winning games of football."

Micky, who continues to take it game by game, insisted he is still looking to try and regain top spot in the table with Town being five points behind Burton.

"We are certainly capable of getting a result," said Micky.

"It is a different challenge again but we are looking forward to going down there and giving it a go, and like I always say it will always be a tough challenge because all games in this division are.

"They have fantastic fans, there is no doubt about that and they get right behind their team and drive them on so that will be a part of our preparation."

And Micky is confident that his team have the capability to come back with all three points.

Town take on Pompey at Fratton Park in the Sky Bet League 2 clash this weekend (3pm kick-off) following back-to-back victories over Morecambe and Oxford United.

Manager Micky Mellon believes Shrewsbury Town can still catch league leaders Burton Albion - starting with victory at Portsmouth on Saturday.
