Midfielder Wants Town To Push On Again

Was the full interview with Woods on Shrews Player."I think I've had a good season so far but had a blip over the Christmas period," said Woods.
"I'm now hoping that I can push on and get better and better in these last 12 games.
"I've been working really hard on all areas of my game and I'm looking forward to pushing on now and seeing where it can take me.
"I just love getting on the ball, thats me. I'm working hard now on the other side of the game with things such as tracking runs and the physicality of this league."
The 21-year-old has also been pleased with his performances as a whole for the Club this season.
"They're another big team that we're going to be coming up against," said Woods.
"Matt Harrold is there and he was here when I was a young lad, so it will be nice to see him again.
"They made it quite tough for us when we went down to their place, but we're at home now and we'll have the confidence to get the three points."
But Woods believes that being back on home soil can give Town the confidence to collect all three points.
Town were held to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture at Cambridge, who currently sit 16th in the table, in December.
"With our intention of winning the league, we've got to remain unbeaten at home now," said Woods.
"Hopefully our little blip is over now and we can keep pushing on for the last 12 games of the season.
"We've got to keep working with the same intensity that we did in the first 35 minutes at Accrington and then in the second half. Our football will then speak for itself."
And Woods insists the Shrews must continue to play with the same intensity which saw them pick up the win at the Store First Stadium on Tuesday night.
Town take on the U's in the Sky Bet League 2 clash at the Greenhous Meadow this weekend (3pm kick-off) looking to build on a 2-1 win at Accrington Stanley in midweek and banish the memory of a first home league defeat of the season to Northampton a week before.
